I see her heavenly body over there ‑
She’s graceful & fine just blows the mind!
Her body she flaunts ‑
and the men fail at her taunts.
I look & smile,
laughing all the while ‑
with my friends.
I go to ask her out;
and “NO” she does shout ‑
I’m looking confounded,
when out the words bounded;
“Why can’t we just be friends…
that’s all I want.”
I turn irritated &
walk away &
again I hear her say
“I just want to be friends.”
wil becker
