another day is ending,
but the sun will rise tomorrow;
the wall has finally come down –
modern prophecy fulfilled.
once shadows of darkness
danced and played behind it;
now light fill this
once shrouded land.
people didn’t have the
blessings that now fill their lives –
their beliefs they once had to
running and hiding to keep it safe.
the truth now passes freely –
person to person and heart to heart;
the Holy Ghost continues to testify –
as members and missionaries – cry forth.
the gospel truth of Jesus Christ,
now reaches more nations;
but to fill the whole earth
is God’s command and so it will roll forth.
the Iron Curtain
has been pulled from its rungs –
and the truth still filters
through cracks in other walls . . .
