Verizon Wireless has turned around and started to move towards Google’s stand on the 700mhz band. They are making some noise about what is allowed and what is acceptable.
“Rick Whitt, a Google lawyer based in Washington, described Verizon’s proposal as “a promising half-step forward for consumers,” but he said it doesn’t go far enough to guarantee consumers can “download applications and use devices on any network.” (1)
