I came across this today on Wired; sWaP = Phone, MP3 Player, Bluetooth, Camera, Video, and more. It is a great concept and I am sure that it works. I am not sure who the mobile provider is, but I think it is a great idea.

I would like to see the Nokia Morph realized, it is a much more compelling device.

Wired, How to Fix Your App

I was listening to a favorite netcast this morning and realized that to fix your iPhone [& mobile App] the company will need to take a few steps.

Sell the App for $20
Change the Subscription Model
1. $10 for the paper magazine ONLY
2. $20 for Digital delivery to the mobile app and website access

What this means is that each month a subscriber can get the digital version of the magazine BEFORE the delivery of the paper version; yes, that means mobile app and website.

I don’t know about other subscribers; but I would pay for this. Of course, I read Wired.com everyday for news & information that is going on in the Technology space.

I found this article on Wired this morning & the design of the tablet is really nice & well thought. I would say that this is more like what we will probably see.

The capabilities are a whole different ball-game. I am curious what they will deliver.

The EU Boarded by Pirates!

“Sweden’s Pirate Party won a seat in the European Union Parliament, swept in Sunday amid outrage over a new copyright law and the convictions of the four founders of The Pirate Bay.

The party, formed to protest copyright law, took 7.1 percent of votes in Sweden and one of that country’s 18 seats in the European Parliament. The party stands for radical reform of copyright legislation, abolition
of the patent system and guaranteed online-privacy rights.”
