The GParted bootable cd is a great replacement for Partition Magic [for those that use it]. GParted is an industrial-strength package for creating, destroying, resizing, moving, checking and copying partitions, and the file systems on them.

It is free of charge and very useful. In fact, I used it to clean off that hard drive I took to Atlanta, it worked like a charm. I also used it to remove a primary partition from a friends windows hard drive. Yes, that is right clean as a whistle! I love free and wonderful tools like GParted!
