So, finally, I called Philips support for some help. I spent five minutes talking to the tech and he had me preform one simple test, which I should have thought about. I turned off the Extreme and got a nice clear call.

We started having trouble after I changed the Extreme Wi-Fi channel to 11. I changed it to 3 and turned everything back on and made a phone call. Crystal clear again!

So, Philips VoIP trouble, check your Wi-Fi channel.

The article is about 3 pages long and Brent does a really good job [he included screen shots - sweet!] If you are going to buy an Extreme, I would recommend using this to set yours up. I will be setting up mine with this tutorial after my upcoming move.
