I am the son of goodly parents, the husband of an angel, and the father of 3 boys that teach me to be a better man.  I write poetry, prose, and other fragments of thought.  I help others bring their thoughts and ideas together.

I am … William (Iron Wil) K. Becker and was born in the winter of 1975.  My father joined the military in the spring of 1977 and a short time later our family began globe trotting.

I graduated in 1993 from a DoDDS (Department of Defense Dependent High School).  My family returned to the US in 1994 when dad was reassigned the last time.  I then served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints from 1998 to 2000 and then I attended ASU (Angelo State University) and graduated in December 2004.

My love of computers began the day my parents brought home a Goldstar.  I took every  opportunity to use computers and learn as much as possible about how they work.  After serving the mission, I jumped right back into computers.

I started IronWil CS in 2003 while still in attending ASU.  I spent time helping others fix their computers and answering computer-related questions both formally and informally for friends and family. After finishing college, my wife and I moved to the DC Metro area.  My current project is QuoteMyT.

My nickname and this website’s name comes from David, my youngest brother, who lovingly calls me “Iron Wil”.
