Wireless Security from Ars Technica

by Iron Wil on May 1st, 2008

Ars Technica has published an article titled “The ABCs of securing your wireless network“. This article is well written and provides good definitions and analysis on the different wireless protocols. I recommend this read for anybody looking to get a better handle on the terminology and technology. The primary focus of the article is 802.11g/n routers.

In this article they also cover the different encryption models [WEP, WPA, WPA2] and the weakness of MAC address filtering. The article also covers media devices like the PSP, PS3, and Nokia WiFi Tablet.

read it here.
