My Zune Doesn’t Work with Windows!

Monday, December 31st, 2007

I have another story.

My wife called a friend today for chit-chat and to catch up. Her friend was given a new Zune for Christmas. She thought, “Cool, I would rather have an iPod but this is free”. She connected it to her XP WinBox and it got rejected. Her WinBox doesn’t have the latest updates and so the Zune refused to connect. [Auto-Updates for every computer!]
My wife said, “Oh, I’m so sorry.” The wife of course blames me and my Mac-itude and Pro Apple disposition for her apology.

I had a good laugh and sat down to share.

SkullCandy if your Deaf

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

Several months ago my iPod headphones died - I wore them out. I bought a set of earbuds from SkullCandy, I had seen good reviews and figured for 20$ what the heck. I had been looking at a few 80 to 100 $ pairs that had great reviews; but I decided that I would chance it.

It was a waste. I had them for two weeks and the right earbud totally died. Yesterday in the middle of a podcast the left bud died. I am regretting not spending the extra 80$ for the better set. I would give this product 1.5 stars because the rubber large earbud fit very nicely in my ear. I didn’t have to worry about losing them when I wore them.
